I have a Whirpool French door Refrigerator. It is approx 2 1/2 years old and is the worst refrigerator I've ever had! It is not only poorly designed the quality is non-existent. The water dispenser in the freezer drawer....seriously? Who wants to bend over and pull out the drawer for cold water, what were they thinking? In order to get to the Deli Drawer you must open both doors watsing electricity....dumb! I don't know how they were able to receive an energy star rating on this one. Just getting a drink of water and deli meat for a sandwhich probably costs more than running my laundry for a week! The quality is even worse. Shortly after the 1 year warranty was up, the sliders on the freezer drawer broke and the freezer has never closed properly since. Again, wasting electrcity. The deli door always falls off when you try and open it. The seperator between the French doors busted, we had to Jerry rig it to get it to close and even then it never closes properly and mold builds up around the doors. The final straw was when the freezer handle broke off and requires a whole new drawer front. What a piece of junk!
